Agnes “ Peggy” Donovan, age 76, of 135 N. State St. Tiskilwa, Illinois died Friday, June 09, 2006 at the Heartland Health Care in Henry. Mrs. Donovan was born on March 12, 1930 in LaSalle, Illinois the daughter of Vincent and Irene Swiskoski. She was united in marriage to Harold “Harry” Donovan on February 19, 1949 in LaSalle, Illinois. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tiskilwa. She is survived by one daughter Judy (Virgil) Schulte of Walnut, Illinois; one son Mike (Mary) Donovan of Wyanet, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers Jerry Swiskoski of LaSalle, Illinois and Leo Swiskoski of LaSalle, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, William and Joseph. Prayer services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut followed by mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m at St. John’s Catholic Church in Walnut with the Rev. Dan Wilder pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ohio. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut with the rosary at 7:45 p.m. A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN HER MEMORY TO THE CHARITY OF THE DONOR’S CHOICE.
