Garland Funeral Home Obituaries James “Tony” Clinton Visitation: Service: James “Tony” Clinton, age 71, of 209 N. Pleasant Street in Ohio, Illinois died Sunday, November 19, 2006 on the family farm north of Ohio, Illinois. Jim was born on January 24, 1935 in Sterling, Illinois, the son of Anthony and Marie (Elliot) Clinton. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Brain October 8, 1955 in Kewanee, Illinois. He was employed at Harper Wyman where he was a production manager for 47 years retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ohio, Illinois. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hobby farming. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou of Ohio, Illinois; two daughters Cheryl (Larry) Sims of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, Cindy (Jeff) Byers of Wyanet, Illinois; two sons Michael (Lisa) Clinton of Cherry, Illinois, James (Donna) Clinton of LaMoille, Illinois; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; three sisters Carolyn Brown of Dixon, Illinois Jane Freres of Dixon, Illinois; Patricia Brocken of Oak Park, Illinois and one brother Anthony(Kathy) Clinton of Nashville, Tennessee and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral prayer services will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut followed by mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ohio, with the Rev. Dan Wilder, pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Ohio, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut with the rosary at 7:30 p.m. A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN HIS MEMORY TO: THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH OF OHIO, THE OHIO LIBRARY, THE OHIO FIRE DEPARTMENT.
