Myron R. Molln, age 84, of 24198 IL Rt. 92 Ohio, Illinois died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, Illinois.

Myron was born on March 20, 1926 in Princeton, Illinois, the son of Charles and Cora (Mehlbrech) Molln. He was united in marriage to Lois Rempfer on November 20, 1949 in Mendota, Illinois. He farmed in the Ohio area his entire life. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Ohio where he served on the church council, was a director of the Van Orin Bank, and he served on the Bache Chapel Board. In his younger years he had a passion for flying and enjoyed many Sunday afternoons in the air.

He is survived by his wife Lois Molln of Ohio, Illinois; one daughter Janice (Bob) Williams of Van Orin, Illinois; three sons David (Ann Cobane) Molln of Ohio, Illinois, Laverne (Linda) Molln of Walnut, Illinois, Kevin (Missy) Molln of Toulon, Illinois; 10 grandchildren Melissa (Tom) Wallisch of St. Paul, Minnesota, Jennifer (Brian) Larson of Bettendorf, Iowa, Brad (Jennifer) Williams of Van Orin, Illinois, Becky Molln of Chicago, Illinois, Dena (Dave) Doran of Ohio, Illinois, Derek Molln, Andrew Molln, Chelsey Molln all of Princeton, Illinois, Jade and McKinna Molln of Toulon, Illinois; and 10 great grandchildren, Nicholas, Emma, Luke, and Charlie Wallisch of St. Paul, Minnesota, Leah, Ava, and Chloe Williams of Van Orin, Illinois, Kyle Molln of Princeton, Illinois, Nolan and Madison Doran of Ohio, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son Gary, and one brother Ivan Molln.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 am. at the Van Orin Bache Chapel in Van Orin, Illinois with the Rev. Gene Vincent, pastor of the First Lutheran Church of Ohio, officiating. Burial will be in Van Orin Repose Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bache Chapel. A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN HIS MEMORY TO THE FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH AND THE OHIO FIRE DEPARTMENT OR THE DONORS CHOICE. The Garland Funeral Home in Walnut completed the arrangements.
