Nancy K. Larkey, age 70, of Orchard View Nursing Home, Princeton, IL and formerly of Walnut, Illinois died Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Orchard View.
Nancy was born on April 7, 1939 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Vivian (Cushman) Dennes. She was united in marriage to Dale E. Larkey on
April 4, 1959 in Albany, Illinois. She had worked at Harper Wyman in Princeton, Illinois as a assembler and was a member of the Rock River Christian Center in Rock Falls, Illinois.
She is survived by two sons Kevin Larkey of Walnut, Illinois, Loren Larkey of Gatesville, Texas; four grandchildren Sarah, Chett, Chanse, and Kelsey; two brothers Roger Dennes of San Antonio, Texas, Richard Dennes of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two sisters Kathy Loper of San Diego, California, Pat Hickey of Freeport, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation rites were accorded and private memorial services will be later this summer. A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN HER MEMORY. Garland Funeral Home in Walnut were in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to: www.garlandfuneralhome.com.
